McLaren’s Next Hybrid Vehicle Announced as New Artura

The wait is over! It has been confirmed that the new Artura will be the next hybrid supercar for McLaren, and people could not be happier. This vehicle has been years in the making and has much to offer in the way of performance, speed, and innovation. The McLaren Artura is like nothing anyone has seen before. Today we are going to explore what we know about this new supercar, which will be released in 2021.

Performance on the New Artura Supercar

This High-Performance-Hybrid will no longer be equipped with McLaren’s V8 engine, but it will hold just as much power with the compact twin-turbocharged V6 petrol engine. This was created to combine with the electric motor, while also maintaining a lightweight powertrain. Half a century of McLaren technology and research has gone into creating this hybrid vehicle, and the work has paid off.

There is weight-saving technology involved as well in the powertrain, body, and chassis. The Artura maintains its dynamic superiority and class-leading weight advantage due to the McLaren Carbon Lightweight Architecture (MCLA). There is an improved torque response for lower engine speeds, and this will deliver a smooth acceleration.

How Fast will the New Artura be?

While there is still information yet to be released from McLaren regarding the new Artura, here is what we know about their speed. The new Artura supercar is built off all the extensive knowledge McLaren has already comprised in their previous vehicles. This includes their fastest vehicle yet: Speedtail Hyper-GT.
