THE RM 65-01 McLaren W1: All You Need to Know   

The McLaren W1, successor to the legendary McLaren F1 and P1, sets a new benchmark in automotive performance. Similarly, the RM 65-01 was conceived to mirror the W1 cutting-edge features, pushing boundaries in design and functionality while celebrating shared values of performance and passion. At the core of RM 65-01 lies the RMAC4 automatic chronograph movement, beating at a rapid 5Hz (36,000 vibrations per hour), enabling the split-second chronograph to measure elapsed times with a precision of one-tenth of a second.   

Adding to its high-performance capabilities is the rapid-winding system, which uses a Quartz TPT® pushpiece to quickly recharge the 60-hour power reserve. Like the W1 supercar’s dynamic engine, this feature ensures the RM 65-01 is always ready for action. True to its ethos as a driver’s watch, the RM 65-01 features a function selector crown reminiscent of a car’s transmission selector. This innovative crown allows wearers to switch between winding, date adjustment, or hand-setting modes effortlessly.   

Despite its advanced engineering, the RM 65-01 is robust enough for daily use. Its 480-part movement is designed for reliability, while a variable geometry winding rotor adapts to the wearer’s activity level.
