McLaren Unveiled the Groundbreaking 2020 McLaren Elva

2020 McLaren Elva Release Date and Pricing

Earlier this week, McLaren unveiled a groundbreaking new model: the 2020 McLaren Elva. Inspired by the McLaren-Elva racecars from the 1960s, the all-new Elva features an open-cockpit design with a windshield made of “air,” while delivering performance that rivals the top-of-the-line McLaren Senna. Read more to find out about the release date and pricing of the 2020 McLaren Elva.

Deliveries of the 2020 McLaren Elva are expected to occur in late 2020. Pricing of the 2020 McLaren Elva starts at $1,690,000, with the final price dependent on the customization options that each Elva buyer chooses. The McLaren Elva offers a high degree of exclusivity with a limited production of only 399 vehicles.

Performance Specs of the 2020 McLaren Elva

Are you ready for a world-class driving experience? The 2020 McLaren Elva is powered by a sophisticated 4.0-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, which churns out a mighty 804 horsepower and 590 lb-ft of torque. The engine is paired with the Seven-Speed Seamless-Shift Gearbox. The Elva can go from 0 – 100 kph (62 mph) in under three seconds and 0 – 200 kph (124 mph) in just 6.7 seconds. The latter acceleration time is even less than the McLaren Senna. The performance of the Elva is further aided by its electro-hydraulic steering system and carbon ceramic brakes, as well as its lightweight and aerodynamic carbon fiber design.

Active Air Management System for the 2020 McLaren Elva

Perhaps you heard that the McLaren Elva doesn’t have a windshield and wondered, “How is this possible?” The 2020 McLaren Elva has the groundbreaking Active Air Management System, which creates what McLaren refers to as a “bubble of calm” within the cockpit by channeling air from the front of the supercar and diverting it over the vehicle occupants.
